Hello I'm new to Blender and would like to know about this one error I get with Python. The version for Blender I have is 2.49b and the version I tried to install was 2.6.5. The error comes out as this:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC90.CRT,version="9.0.21002.8",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32"". Please refer to Help and Support for more information.
Now the reason why I'm using these versions of Blender and Python is because I want to make weapon mods for Elder Scrolls IV Obivilion. Also about this error I did some searching on Google and it turns out that is an error within Windows. One of the members brought up two methods both on which I tried and ended up in failure. I was told from a friend that there are people on this site that know about Python and I was wondering if they could point me to the right direction. I want to be able to create and give Blender and Python a fair chance and if anyone can show me what I can do to make this work that would be wonderful for me.
