I was so hoping to find Paolo lurking about this forum, looking for issues. I have one - and I pray there is an immediate fix for it.

Daz Studio 4.7 Pro + Reality 4 + somewhat content heavy scene, a few more items than in the picture = CRASH once I hit the render frame button inside Reality to Lux...

Is the problem with Daz Studio or Reality 4 or my computer?

Computer Specs:

OS: Windows 8.1

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.60 GHz

Ram: 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)

System: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor

Graphics: Intel (R) HD Graphics Family 2GB

All drivers up to date...

Crashing for me as well.  It is Lux that is crashing.  I played around with the render settings and put them to No GPU acceleration, as in just using the CPU option for the rendering.  That seems to solved it for me.  My graphics card is an NVidia gforce 550 Ti, so not too many cuda cores on that one, and I'm not sure about openCl support for that card.  I'm using the openCl version of Lux, 64bit.

Crashing also for me for some scenes (working ok for some others) , even with no GPU acceleration,DAZ Studio crashing just after i click on render frame

But work ok with Poser when i put no GPU acceleration

Yes I have up graded to 4.7   it crashes out all the time.. more often than not right in the midle of a render... Run a i7  with 2.5 tb hard disk..24 gb of ram  so it should have the power... works find in Poser and Carrar 7.2 so it is not the computer   radioham
