How do you turning an imagemap on it's side? I know it's just plugging a node or 2 into someplace on the image node but I can't remember what. I did a search here but the "wonderful" search results told me nothing that was helpful.

There is an option on one of the nodes to use UV or VU which may be what you need.  I tend to use Photoshop elements to make a copy of the map and rotate the image.

Gimp is free and works equally well.
