Is there a python script that can refit hair to characters? Preferably a free one?

Netherwork's Hair Conversion System @ RDNA. The core program is free, however there is a charge for each add-on license. The add-on's are on sale now.

Wardrobe Wizard that comes with Poser (since version 8) can convert hair.

I've got it, along with a number of support files for various characters, and I use it quite frequently, and you know -- I never knew it did hair. Cool!

If you google the name of the hair along with 'poser' and 'fit' or'refit' you may turn up free fit poses...
