I decided to do an overhaul on the scenery. Many replied that the foliage was too unreal, etc. So I hope this is getting closer. I decided against a shield, since the axe is 2-handed. Any last suggestion welcomed before final render and post-work. Thanks for all that helped me out. Bryan

Bryan, this is a very nice image. The pose of the caracter is perfect. Just one thing, the little campfire seems to lighten up the mountains in the background a bit to much IMO. I'm just nitpicking here ;) TTF

I like the changes... The only thing I think I would change would be the fire needs to be a little smaller, other then that I LOVE IT.. P.S. Not sure about the butterfly, seems a bit large to me.

Have you considered applying a bit of a reflection map to the armour? A image rendered of the fire and the foliage in the background would probable woork well.
