Does anyone know of a good resource for faces for the face room? I've tried the usual google search but nothing was really useful.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by resources?

Do you mean reference images?

Have you tried photographs of your family and friends as first experiments?  Check the wiki and the manual.  My only problem with using my own face is that the camera made me look tired and bloated.  I had hoped it would make me look better.

www.3d.sk is probably your best bet, but I am no expert since I mainly use the faceroom to shape the face and not to texture it.

Poser 11 Pro, Windows 10

Auxiliary Apps: Blender 2.79, Vue Complete 2016, Genetica 4 Pro, Gliftex 11 Pro, CorelDraw Suite X6, Comic Life 2, Project Dogwaffle Howler 8, Stitch Witch

I would agree that 3d.sk would probably the best place to faces and figures studies as the photographs are of high resolution and the lighting at least tries to take account of use the image is likely to be put to.  On the other hand I have never had much luck at using the face room to build textures but then I have not had much luck with the other programs built to do the same thing either.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
