Put this together in about 15 minutes to test making a distant planet. It was far easier than I thought. All I have to do now is make a decent looking scene! ;) Rich

Rich, that's beautiful... and it's very much near the type of thing I had been trying, prior to deciding on this month's VC. Of course, now you have to tell me how you did it--- rukes are rules, LOL! ;) Nah... only kidding...that's what trade secrets are all about, LOL! Again, this is totally cool!

Hey Mike, all I did was to follow the mini tutorial in the manual for making distant planets almost exactly. It really is pretty easy when you've got instructions, LOL! Thanks for the comment though. Rich

Well, imagine that! I have to confess, I've never gone through any of the tutorials, other than the animation tutorials--- I'll have to check it out, as soon as I manage to reassemble my manual--- seems it doesn't like being slept on and rolled over on all night, LOL!

I have to read it over again now, too. That looks great, Rich! And it's already a cool scene; I think all you need is a point of interest, like maybe some dude walking his dog along the riverbank. Or maybe a shepherd with a couple sheep/goats. Or....well, your image! :)
