Subject: shrinking a graphic file

ldgilman ( ) posted Sat, 21 February 2015 at 5:17 PM · edited Fri, 11 October 2024 at 7:18 PM

Hi All,

I am new to posting pictures, but not new to Renderosity. I tried posting my graphic and keep getting an error message stating the file must be a "minimum 100 x 100 and a maximum 4000 x 4000 @ 512k bytes". First what does the 100 and 4000 represent, it seems a bit odd that there can be an image of 4k x 4k and be only 512k.

My image is 96 x 96, 1024 x 614 with an aspect ratio of 10:6

When trying to upload my files, I use the icon that is created during the render process.

So any help of pointers that you could provide would be most welcome!!!

Thanks in Advance

Larry

Hello Larry,

The minimum and maximum are in pixels. The best thing is to try to "Save for web". That option seems to always help when uploading to the gallery.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or problems! :)
