Bought this product yesterday

Bad Birdy loads ok in Carrara 8, 8.5 & 8.5B
but you can't pose him manually or with the supplied poses in any of those Carrara versions..
Is there a workaround that can be used to get the bad fella to work in Carrara or should I just pluck him off
