Harry, I'm so happy you got this, at long last! With Denise, it's a well-deserved honor! (Well she spells it "honour," but we in the Midwest never could spell too well...) When so many of us are looking for dramatic subjects, you're out there everyday, finding poetry in the very molecules of your surroundings, finding art in all that you see. For your huge variety, your constantly dedicated postwork, your willingness to find music in the smallest to the largest things, and for doing it day after day even with bad back pain, etc etc, congratulations. You set an example for us all. I'm really happy for you!!!

This is wonderful and very well deserved! Your gallery is a constant source of inspiration, beauty, and interest. Rarely a day goes by that I don't see something with a different perspective because of your work. I look more closely, from different angles, beyond the surface, or maybe take deeper interest in the surface, texture, and light. There's an exercise in drawing where you look at things upside down or in small portions to try to distract the mind from seeing what it expects to see. Your work is like that. It encourages me to look at things as if I had never seen them before. To look at their form, their texture, the way the light interacts with them. Thank you for the joy and inspiration of your gallery! Congratulations, Harry!
