Hey guys I just came across this and thought I would share. One of the things I liked about wings was that you could move a face, vertice, or line along another elements normal path. This can be handy. I did not think this was possible in Blender but came across a thread on Blender Artist that mentions this very thing. Just select what ever element you wish to copy the normal orientation from and hit Ctrl + Alt + Space Bar. This orientation is now added to the orientation menu at the bottom of the 3d viewport. Always some thing new to learn. :)
