Alt-Tab steps through a list of icons of the current jobs.
But if my Poser 10 asks me for a filename, and I Alt-Tab away from Poser to find or create that wanted file or folder, when I then go back to Poser, Alt-Tab does not display that Poser job's icon, and to get back into Poser I must find the Poser job in Ctrl-Alt-Del, Task Manager, Switch to.

It is probably hidden behind the Poser vieuwport screen.
Reduce the Poser screen in size to find the second window behind it.

Disabling the Aero theme style for Windows 7 solves most display issues where the focus windows get lost. It has to do with how Aero's transparencies or sticky "fit to" windows work or some such... Here's a "how to" if needed:
