Subject: Ummm, folks, I got the message about $6 Saturday

There's really no reason to send it TWICE to my inbox, and then TWICE again in a Renderosity PM.

I don't mean to complain, but this is really out of hand.  Please put a stop to it.

I looked at the sale, I thought about grabbing a couple of things.  Then I got interrupted with yet another message about the sale and forgot where I was.

I would also like to not get upwards of 4 or 5 ad emails a day from the same site. It's ridiculous and unnecessary. If ya can't condense your emails to include everything you wanna say in one day, don't send it. Other sites send me one ad email a WEEK (which I think is more than sufficient).

Back to Glitter's problem. I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in on the subject of "excessive" ;)

The broadcast email was only sent out once. If you got two in your inbox that were the actual EMAIL broadcast newsletter for todays sale then can you please forward me BOTH broadcast emails with the email headers and everything in tact (stacey@renderosity.com) because just one went out about the 6 dollar sat sale so either you have a second account that is set up so you got it twice due to that or something else is wrong so just forward me both with the headers in tact so I can check further.

As for The sitemail broadcast it was accidentally hit twice as that is a manual broadcast and that was unintentional but those are on the site and not an "email" unless you have your settings turned on to receive an email to tell you you have a sitemail and you can turn that off easy enough on your sitemail page.  That is a site tool we use for special promotions as not everyone checks their emails everyday and if it's a one day 24 hour promotion it's another tool we have on our site but you can just hit delete in the sitemail if you don't want to read it but, it's not an "email" and we use this because we get  customers that are upset if they miss a 24 hour promotion because they didn't see their email broadcast so we use this Renderosity system tool we have in place to help them out but you can easily hit delete on that system site tool .

If you need to change your profile to not receive promotional emails please go to your MY PROFILE page under the MEMBERS tap on the top navigation to change the setting.

Have a great weekend!!

Stacey

The email blast for sales are getting OUT OF CONTROL.

The SALES themselves are also getting totally out of control. Is there 2 weeks in an entire year where product DON'T sell for X% off?? Will I have to price out an item for $60 to make $5? With coupons and sales and splits this place has gotten way out of wack.

People gotta eat and pay the rent, you know?! But that is another subject all together, right?

I don't sell on the DAZ site, and I sure don't get sale emails every few days from them.

I've decided to opt out of emails in my site options and just use that window on the front page. Hopefully that does the trick. Most of what are being advertised now don't pertain to the figures I use anyways.

I've done the same many times, but just a heads up.......if you buy anything, you get re-subscribed.  At least that is my experience.

I have to do the DO NOT EMAIL reset every time I purchase something.  Which is less frequent now that the store is DAZToo.
