I have just purchased a new computer and I am reinstalling Poser 8 over. I have Windows 7 on the new computer, just like my old one, but the Poser Library is just blank and whited out like it is trying to load it indefinitely. I have tried reinstalling it about 4 times, in every combination for the library file locations (programs, my documents, shared files, etc). I have tried updating and reinstalling flash player about as many times.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Did you also install all the Service Packs as well?

Check and see if you have Internet Explorer 11 on your computer. It may have been in your Windows updates - and it breaks Poser. There's a way around it if you have Pro, but with the vanilla versions you're limited to Flash and you have no options other than uninstalling IE11 altogether I'm fairly certain.

Microsoft has a tool that will keep Windows Update from installing IE11 - they know it breaks certain programs ;). You might want to install it.

Does anybody know what's going to happen to the Poser Library now that Microsoft is pulling the plug on Internet Explorer? Will it still work with whatever replaces IE? Or does this mean users will have to buy third party library apps?
