First, convert all materials to iRay base.  There is a built-in script for G2F and G2M that can get you to a starting point.
The other scene materials you will have to do manually.

Next, you should decide whether scene is indoor or outdoor.  If outdoor, in render settings "Environment" select "Dome and Scene" or "Sun-Sky Only".
If indoor, select "Scene Only" and you can use just the photometric lights and/or use the Emission shader to make your own light objects.

Anytime you change render engine, you must change materials and lights.  iRay is still new to DS.  I assume later there will more conversion tools.  Some render tools like luxus and reality make chore easier, but I have yet to see any time things work 100% with press of single button.

There are just a few things to get started, then it is same as any other scenes.
In this one, I use only Sun and set time for 1:00 PM.
Next one is all material convert and set film ISO to 50.
