In the midst of all the forum troubles, I'll try to offer something positive... :D :D
I've been playing with Filter Forge, learning how to make filters, etc. (It uses a node based system, so it looks quite familiar in many respects). The kaleidoscope node makes for some truly addictive processing. So in the process, I've generated thousands of seamless texture tiles, mostly for fabric, upholstery, wallpaper, floor tiles, that sort of stuff. Range is from the mundane to cute to wild to utterly outlandish (Timothy Leary meets Rorschach). I actually might want to attempt to sell some of them if people like them, but I have way too many to put together into packages.
I know a lot of merchant resources, even freebie ones, don't let you use them to texture freebie models, so I wonder if this would be useful? I can also generate pretty basic stuff like denim, plaid, linen, etc, if there's a need for it.
I understand that the freebie section is rather bungled at present, and I was going to suggest that I (and anyone else who wants to play) just post them in the forums. But then I remembered that the forum does some weird stuff with compression. I guess there's always ShareCG.
What do you think? Do you guys want them? (Most are 1024 or 2048px, so the pattern size range is pretty big).
Examples:
PoserPro 2014, PS CS5.5 Ext, Nikon D300. Win 8, i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz, AMD Radeon 8570, 12 GB RAM.
