de3an totally rocked the solar system and won #7. For his penance, he get's to choose the subject for this round which is, and I quote,
"For the next challenge theme, how about "Road Hazard".
Create a scene depicting something that might be cause for danger on a road, path, trail or even a flight corridor."
So, go be a digital danger to yourself and everyone else. Post your challenge entries back in this thread.
Oh, and because my life was out of control and we're starting this challenge late because of your's truly, the deadline for this round is Saturday, May 9 at 12 p.m. midnight - you know, the last possible minute of an earthly day because that's how we work anyhow.

"danger on a road"... I think about my wife when she drive the car, but she's not the only one.
I 'll try something.
MarkBremmer posted Wed, 29 April 2015 at 10:35 AM
Some people drive cars down the road. Some people point cars down the road. :D
booksbydavid posted Wed, 29 April 2015 at 11:43 AM
And some people drive like there's no point to a road at all. :)

Only Daisy.

Daisy Duke would definitely constitute a distraction hazard.

Since I can't compete in this one, I cheated and whipped this together using a dinosaur posed and rendered in Carrara composited with some images pilfered from the internet.
The mirror and the road in the background are from two separate images. I relabeled the mirror for better readability, and composited in Photoshop.
I've been waiting for an excuse to do an image like this since I first saw it in Jurassic Park.

Good work !
How did you get the motion blur ?
The blur was already in the image that I stole, er, I mean chose, for the background. The only thing I did in Carrara was pose and light the dinosaur. The rest is all masking and compositing in Photoshop.

This looks like every movie being made for the USA summer celluloid slam!
Here's one mighty big road hazard!
Used PhilW's instacity for Carrara.

Ha. This certainly isn't California. Too much water. Wait. Baltimore on a rainy day? Too soon?

A small stupid image which summarizes well my life in general...
MarkBremmer posted Tue, 05 May 2015 at 3:53 PM
Don't kid yourself. It summarizes a bunch of lives. :D
Might as well make something that you can laugh at though!

It doesn't make me feel better but for what it's worth, I thank you...

Wonga,
Thank you for this good idea to use the ocean of EP for this kind of scene, I must create an animated sequence for my film in progress and it's exactly what I would like to do.
Excellent work !

Jeepers. It's Saturday night and I'm still on deadline. I'd really hoped that I could eek out an image for this one.
But there is still time if you're awake and not too inebriated!

Congratulations WONGA! You sly dog. You won again. Post your subject for the next challenge back in this thread.

Congratulation, excellent image !
I have several friends who have pigeons (my father-in-law also had some), is it necessary to fill a cup with corn ?
