Hi, folks...
It's been about 5 years since I spent any time on this site, and I'm still working on wrapping my head around all of the changes. I know that most won't remember me, but it's good to see some of the same old names still active in the forum. I finally finished a degree in graphic design back in 2010, and most of what I've been doing since then has been business/commercial graphics. Even though I have used Carrara extensively every opportunity I could during that time, at first I didn't feel like posting examples of my commercial work here would be proper -- or even allowed, by either clients or admin. Later, I just got so busy with life that active participation in this community was the last thing on my mind. In recent weeks, though, I've had the time and desire to work on some images just for myself... and the pleasure of working on a project with no deadline and nobody else to please brought back fond memories of Renderosity and a desire to share more personal works with others. So... to make a long story a little shorter... I've just uploaded my first image in almost 5 years to the Carrara/RDS gallery. I hope someone enjoys it and that I can find the time to be a little more active in the community again.
One question: Below every gallery image, in addition to artist name, image title, etc. is a "sponsored by:" link... in my case to a long defunct website. But I haven't found a way to change that link... yet. If someone could steer me in the right direction it would greatly appreciated.

Nevermind about that link... I finally found details. I guess the FAQ should be my best friend for little while...

Welcome back! Posting a pro piece isn't forbidden. But if your clients are like mine, a bunch of the work isn't really fun to look at.
I'll check on the sponsored link. I just looked and can't find it myself.

Thanks, Mark. I found it... it's part of the affiliate program. I need to spend some more time going through the site and discovering what's changed and what hasn't. For instance, I just discovered why all of my freeware offerings are no longer available... aside from the fact that they were stored on that old, defunct site. Five years of changes is a lot to take in at once.

That makes sense. If you think about that is. I try to not think. It makes me tired don't you know...
