While I was working on a PSD file in photoshop, I saved the file over after making some changes!
Is there any possibility to restore the original document using a recovery software or any other solution?

You saved the file with changes did you already close out of Photoshop after changing the file if you had not you could have used the undo feature in Photoshop. But if closed down Photoshop I can not think of any way to revert changes after saving the file. Hopefully someone else might chime in with an answer

Have you got autosave turned on? If so it may be possible to restore a file to an earlier save point but I can't remember the method to do so, alternatively if you can access the log files you may be able to determine what changes you made and then reverse the process.

The only way i've been able to "revert" after hitting SAVE instead of SAVE AS was while the file was still open going to the History palette and clicking on the entry just before the Save. but if you've saved and closed the file it's pretty well written over :(

There are several methods how to try to open a corrupted AutoCAD drawing file.
· Use the Recover command
· Open the file and press ESC key just before Regeneration/Error message, save to DXF, load, save as DWG, Audit
· Insert the complaining DWG as a block into an empty drawing
· Open/save the DWG in an older version of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT or Actrix
Or use
