Hi all,
I am trying to lighten the face of my character - the dark shadows make her look scary right now. Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks!

Gamma correction.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Hello.
do you want to make the model's skin lighter or change the lights so that the shadows cast on her face are lighter?

Hi Andy - I want to change the lights so that the shadows on her face aren't so dark! Trying to make these kid-friendly. :)
Thank you!

The easiest thing would be to reduce the shadows in each light....
You could also move the light around with your mouse. this would change the direction the lights are coming from but would not affect the shadows themselves.
if you choose a light, you can make adjustments to it in the parameters pallet....
Pictures of helpfulness, below!

Thank you all for the answers! I would have just created a new light and pointed it at the character's face... didn't even consider (or know) about the other methods... lol
The dust settled, thinking "what a fine home, at least for now" not realizing that doom would soon be coming in the form of a vacuum cleaner.
