One. Site security certificate problems
Two. Chat missing.
Three. Wasted space everywhere
Four. Site slow to load
Five. Site freezes when changing pages as crap loads, freezing browser until load is complete.
Six. Site takes upto 5 minutes to load a page.
And that's just me!

Firefox 30, I see no download buttons on freestuff, no images work (broken) on both Freestuff and MP. Site is completely unusable for me.
I thought the admin promised to put all the updates on beta sites first, WTF happened to that? That really pisses me off that he either lied or broke his promise!
Edit: Nevermind, adblock was blocking the images. Thanks a lot, Rendo staff, I'd better be able to block all the extra banners, "tweet/facebook/fdavorite this", and all the other crap I don't like cluttering the page and slowing my browser!
Also, the images are HUGE and the menu bar is small! Can we please go back to 3-4 products per row?!?!?!? Notr everyone uses a mobile phone!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, no download button or anything on the Freebie pages.
Still uber pissed about admin's broken promise about doing one of the most basic rules of web design-- BACKUPS AND BETA TESTING SITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE PROMISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KimberlyC posted Tue, 18 August 2015 at 1:34 PM
The ebots have been reported and currently looked into.
Freestuff buttons are visible when looking at whats new or the member's freestuff area. On the actual freestuff item page, we are aware of no button.
Also! We did have a beta site up for quite sometime that we got a lot of good feedback from. The changes that are seen on this update were on the beta site.
Thanks!!

I never heard of the beta site. Why wasn't it on the MP carousel on the main page (the one with sale announcements and VOMs) I don't look at my mail very often. So the majority agreed that they wanted the thumbnails to be so huge? And for all the carousels on the main page?
(note in case you don't re-read my previous post: I found out the problem with the images-- it was a single item I had blocked via Block Element-- fixed now, but it would be nice not to have that bar at the bottom of the page with FB/Twitter/etc. I really hate those things., esp. since I do not use ANY of the services listed-- no FB account, no Twitter account, never read either site, no Youtube account and almost never look at linked to videos, and I don't use Google+, either-- so that banner is just taking up valuable space for me as this is a 15yo monitor, which I don't want to change because it has stickers on it.)

[i'll] check back in a week or two, and hopefully do not feel like i've some hard decisions to make [and i don't mean that in a threatening, mean-spirited way in the least... sigh].

You said there was a beta site. With all the problems each update brings, perhaps a larger beta team might be in order. Perhaps some who complain vehemently after each change might be asked to help. (You know friends close enemies closer and all that )

For example, when I choose 13 for the day, it actually saves it as 12.

Probably other things missing, just don't feel it is my job to be a beta tester: Why is it always the case that the bugs have to be caught and noted by members? This is something that should be done by the "wizards" who put the site together. What ever happened to the notion of beta testers before making a site live?

The birthday "datePicker" in Edit Profile/Settings is still buggy. The value saved, is not the value displayed.
It looks like an index value problem, since the number it saves is off by 1.
The datePicker displays your birthday - 1 day.
if you pick 13, it saves it as 14. (In order to make it save as 13, I had to pick 12.)
200x200 profile icons are now saving properly in settings though, yay!
JeniferC posted Fri, 21 August 2015 at 6:43 PM
Just an update on where we are today. The site security notices from your browsers may happen on a few pages outside of the Marketplace, but the security is really only important in the Marketplace and we are working to fix those notices on the community pages. It's a bit of work since we converted the entire site to https, but images uploaded or ads aren't also marked as https. The mods and artist homepage links now go to the proper place. FreeStuff button/links have been fixed. White pages/upload issues should all be resolved now. And, the premium tutorials/videos are all working again. Profile Avatars and the date picker in the profile are working again, too.
The gallery image size allowance will be updated soon to allow 4000x4000 full size images (like the old site). But please remember that those large images will still be re-sized for the gallery page layout and members will have to click on them to see the full size (and likely have to do a bit of scrolling). We are also going to bring back the ability to auto-create a thumbnail for you. That may be several business days before we can get that working well. Many of the auto-create thumbnails from the old site are some of the fuzzy thumbs that members have been complaining about, and members are encouraged to update those.
We didn't remove gallery images, but it took a while a move them all over and some may still not be displaying properly if the original full size was over the 1200x1500. We are working on that and hope to have those properly displaying the larger image sizes soon. And, the writters gallery has been updated to allow 25,000 characters.
Chat will be back (probably next week) but it was not technically compatible with our new back-end servers/software and is getting worked on. There are a lot of little things being worked on and already resolved.
Please continue to send us links and screenshots of any weirdness you encounter, and we will be glad to look into it and fix bugs. We greatly appreciate you patience and understanding while get the kinks worked out.
Kaleb242 posted Fri, 21 August 2015 at 7:20 PM

'Many of the auto-create thumbnails from the old site are some of the fuzzy thumbs that members have been complaining about, and members are encouraged to update those.'
just keep in mind, that also as of today, if you update your thumbnails AND you have any kind of formatted text that you wrote about the image, etc., that the formatting is lost and all your words will get shoved and word wrapped together. but i'm sure that the formatting thing is yet another thing they are working on, so you might want to hold off until that's fixed too before changing out old, horribly distorted thumbnails.
JeniferC posted Fri, 21 August 2015 at 8:06 PM

Very sorry to have to block advertising banners due to heavy influx of advertising from google and therefore not to see and actually lose the opportunity to advertise their products, because it defeats the purpose, anyway no one will see. I looked through 30 pages in order and in random order, and his banner so never and have not seen all scores google . And who prevented the clock on the home page and organizer ? It is a pity that such inconveniences with garbage ads and other inconveniences may cause an outflow of vendors ,and then the users favorite site. I am with you since 2002. Good luck to You to overcome these difficulties.

Non-intuitive, is the only way I can think of to describe this site. WTH happened?
I tried to browse through the 'free stuff', it shows 2 or 3 lines of freebies, than churns for a few seconds, and loads the next 2 or 3 lines!
I (used to) come here daily for the MP. Now its just a hassle.
I'm using Opera, and never had a problem with the old site.
DreaminGirl posted Sat, 22 August 2015 at 11:36 PM
Can you PLEASE bring back the old drop-down menu of Vendors in the Marketplace? The way it works now is that you get a page full of vendors, and if you are looking for a specific vendor you have to search. BUT it only works if you know the full name of the vendor! I was trying to find a vendor, but only remembered the first two letters of the name exactly, and searching for those two letters gave me no results. Back before the change, you could type in the drop-down menu and all vendors with those letters in the name would appear in the list and you could easily find who you were looking for. Now it is a nightmare to find anyone! The vendor I was looking for missed a sale because of this :(
So PLEASE bring back the drop-down list, you can still keep what you have now, but honestly I don't see the point of this (I also noticed a vendor happened to change their name, which brought them to the top of that page.. probably a coincidence, but I fear more vendors will do the same to make it easier for customers to find them..)
Edit: To add some examples
Say you are looking for the vendor outoftouch.. but you don't remember exactly how they are spelled.. so you make a search for 'out' - no hits. Search for 'touch' - no hits. Search for 'OOT' - no hits. Say you want to find Fabiana, but don't remember the entire name, so you search for 'fabi' - no hits. Say you want to fin Vyktohria, but can't remember the correct spelling, so you search for 'vyk' - no hits. Search for 'vyktoria' - no hits. I could go on but I think you get it. This is something that will cost vendors sales, because customers can't find them!
Or, you could scroll down the entire page of vendors, which will take days.. people are not that patient..

Also my frriends list is missing. My favorite atrists list is missing etc. My Bio is missing, and I no longer get ebaots when my favorite artists upload a new image.
As for the design of the new site, I am afraid I think it is the worst design I have ever had the misfortune to look upon, let alone use. Sorry. That old adage comes to mind, If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Michael_C posted Sun, 23 August 2015 at 8:23 AM
The infinite scrolling (as opposed to paging) in the Gallery is impossible. If you click a Gallery image, when you use your browser return button you are sent back to the top of the Gallery, not the place you left (this is the standard action across the site including the forums) and need to scroll all the way down again to where you left, presuming you remember. Very discouraging. Return to the old paged system and the old, familiar "Back" response, please.

When I go back tto the entry page ALL the product names are changed to 'undefined'. It I try again omitting the product by Danie, the image loads successfully. It makes no difference how many other products are in the lists. I have also noticed that many artists who post successfully have given up on including citations. Note I am using Firefox.

I'm no lover of the "Error 404" page, but it would be better than this...
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?section_id=47
(that's the old URL of the now-defunct 'Critique Gallery', which I still have bookmarked)
Better than either would be a page that says "The Critique Gallery no longer exists." and provides useful alternative links, e.g. main gallery page and/or sitemap.
But being pragmatic - Error 404 would do...
The 3Dcheapskate* occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.

The Google ads are driving me crazy. I hired movers a few weeks ago, so now I'm constantly getting ads for movers. I shop mostly on my iPad and I have ad tracking off in privacy and then clicked a reset button, so now I'm getting random ads for things like Tide detergent. I am never going to click on those ads and the whole point is to get people to click. Why don't you at least hand pick ads for products relevant to the site? 2D and 3D art or even photography related ads I might click on. Even better, store vendors sales or new products. It's just annoying to see these intrusive ads that have nothing to do with me or the site that I will never click on. Next I'll probably get an ad for McDonalds or something (where I haven't eaten since I was 12 years old...) If you must have ads, please at least make them relevant to the site, not our personal searches or with that turned off, random ads that cheapen the site...

i think there is an issue, at least in the galleries, regarding the use of the Gallery Search box.
if i use the Community > Site Search, and type in the word 'pearl', hit enter, and then click the gallery button from there, i am rolled into the galleries and my keyword autopops and results are shown.
however, if i am already in the galleries and type in 'pearl' myself into the Gallery Search box, i get no results whatsoever any longer. i know i did prior to the Site Search feature being implemented.
i'm using the most recent update for FireFox. the most recent update for FF was done yesterday, but this was happening prior to the update, so i think that that can be ruled out as a potential factor. i wanted to wait a couple days before reporting this in case it was just a fluke, but it's still occurring.
Wonderland posted Sat, 29 August 2015 at 12:05 AM
It shows that I have unread site mail, although it is read.
On the iPad you get these floating grey squares that have suggestions for other items in landscape mode that cover everything up and you have to switch to portrait mode to be able to continue to shop.
Also, it still says at check out that we only get 5% rewards instead of 7%
And please fix the relevancy of the ads! I have no interest in buying Tide detergent!

We are also going to bring back the ability to auto-create a thumbnail for you. That may be several business days before we can get that working well. Many of the auto-create thumbnails from the old site are some of the fuzzy thumbs that members have been complaining about, and members are encouraged to update those.
Jenifer,
Are the auto-create thumbnail images available yet? I will probably not be able to post any images until that feature is activated.

I still get the white screen failure on gallery posts when I include one of the Danie and Marforno products in the citation list. No other vendor has caused this problem. But as far as I know their products are the only one with a punctuation mark in the product name DM's etc. So I remain unable to give credits to this very fine vendor.
An observation - not a complaint - still no 'Contains Nudity' alerts showing under gallery thumbnails and nobody seems to be checking for nudity in thumbnails either. Does it not matter any more?
I reported both issues here some time ago. Other than that, having no problems with gallery posts.
New question: who put together the keyword list? I find it incredible that 'butt' is a valid keyword and 'butterfly' isn't. Seems sort of perverted.

Boni, you have a space between the brackets and the parentheses. They have to be together.
To simply some of this I have added buttons & shortcuts to the editor that now will do it all for you.
You can either press the button to insert the markdown, or you can type text, highlight it then click the button to insert the markdown, or for an inline link you can type in the URL then highlight and the click the button.
I've also added shortcuts for the buttons as well:
To bring up a shortcut for Emojis you can type :
then start typing the name of the emoji
Inside the editor, you can now select your text and bold by typing:
cmd+b or cntl+b
Inside the editor, you can now select your text and italicize by typing:
cmd+i or cntl+i
Inside the editor, you can now select your text (or not for a new link) and link by typing:
cmd+shift+l or cntl+shift+l

Yeah, we've got to work on some of the UTF-8 issues and then convert that to markdown as well before it is possible. I'll put it on the list for discussion, I'm not sure why you would need a picture on you signature and I'm not sure people won't take advantage of it and add huge images possibly cluttering the pages on which they post? But I'll at least open it for discussion when we convert that.
On a side note, I'll be working on adding more buttons for a few other things over time.
Boni posted Wed, 02 September 2015 at 10:31 PM

When uploading an image, in the description it says 25000 characters max. This is not true as when I went over that I got a "Faliure to post, description exceeds limit of 4096". Just like it used too. I can deal with that, but the number used to change and tell you how many characters were in your description, now it does nothing. Also, I think I saw in an earlier post on this thread that ebots are working? Is that true? Are we supposed to get notifications in our email that a "Favorite Artist" has posted an image, or are the ebots just Renderosity notifications? I have "Live Notifications" turned on, but I'm not even sure what that means anymore. The only ebots I get are Renderosity marketplace ads. With the "Activity Feed" as the de facto way to see your favorite artists, I'm not even sure I'm seeing everyone anymore without tracking down each artist to see if I'm still "Following" them. And to add to that, there are no "Friends" list anymore.
Also, when I view my own gallery and sort it, Newest to oldest, some images are mixed up and out of order. Besides that, with the new format for "My Gallery", I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be looking left to right, following a path left to right to right to left or up or down. It seems a bit cluttered.
Finally I'll complain about something that will likely not be changed and that is the amount of ads I am forced to look at, despite paying a Prime Membership to be here. I pay at other sites and do not have to look at ads. That is obnoxious as paying for cable and internet and Comcast forcing me to re-watch ads even when I restart a paused show. And speaking of Prime has there been any statements about the change in the cost of Prime Products? When I last paid for Prime, I paid for items @ $3.50. Is or was there something in the TOS that says pricing can change without notification or refund?
I'd say the image of a massive locomotive to announce "Big Changes" is quite appropriate: "That's right! Changes are coming and they can't be stopped! Just like a runaway train. You'll never see it coming!"
All that said, I do appreciate the lifting of size limitations and am willing to see how the changes go. I would add that before DAZ revamped their site, they had a beta site up for quite a while that allowed people to visit the site, experience the changes and offer suggestion, comments and alert programmers to bugs before committing to the new format. That's a lesson I think should be considered before making "Big Changes" again. I've seen the ranters around here and am really surprised that the Admins here did not take a more conservative approach to the change. It's not like this is like a radio station where the format can change overnight.
That's my two cents and change. BTW I've been using Chrome lately for browsing and if I'm not mistaken that is the favored browser by admins here. So all bugs I've seen are under that tent.

Similarly the 'white' Marketplace, Freestuff, Galleries, Community should be bold as they turn gray and fade into the title.

The system says I've used my daily limit on images, which I did technically, by attempting to load one which refused to finish being processed by the system, three times lol. It's a normal 8 bit jpg under the size limits, even the thumbnail, 300 x 500 pixels, appears to be a problem ? After hitting upload or update, the system/page hangs. In addition, at one point, my browser (chrome) reported unsupported scripts for the page. later...
