Hey folks--

After 15 minutes, members are unable to edit a forum post. This isn't a bug or an issue, it was the same way on our old site. At this time, we're keeping it as is.

Thanks so much for inquiring about it.

Never liked the short editing time limit on the old site. Always considered it a bug that needed to be fixed. Got around it by typing my posts in Word first for important things I wanted to convey. Reason it should be editable longer is that sometimes I see folks say something or use a choice of words that when they have a few minutes or few added posts to think about they want to retract it. A longer edit process lets people cool down. Might make admins lives easier.

But me? I just makes tons of mistakes and typois.

Just like editing a post, after 15 minutes, you're unable to delete your thread. Thanks for asking!

I agree with that. A longer edit time and delete time might make things easier for admin and allow people after they have cooled down to edit or delete if need be.
