Hey everyone--

Our online magazine-- Renderosity Magazine -- features "Artists Spotlights." We showcase vendors and members on Renderosity in order to let others understand how, when and why they fell so deeply in love with art.

Please view vendor Sveva's article-- http://renderositymagazine.com/susan-justice-sveva-art-is-the-open-door-to-expression-and-to-the-soul-cms-90.

This is just ONE member. If you'd like to see them all, head over to our online magazine to view more!

And if you wish to view Sveva's gallery, please view it here.

I think there should be a line item for the Renderosity Magazine on one of the pull-downs. It is something I could see getting into the habit of checking fairly regularly.

Hey @3dstories-- would you be able to explain your idea a bit further? What do you mean by "a line item?" On the bottom, next to "Become an Affiliate," we do have a link where you can click and it will direct you to the magazine.

I went and read the Renderosity Magazine article on the Intuos Art tablet and I wanted to post a question/comment to the author. While I was already logged in to my Renderosity account, it would not let me participate.

Hi, Hope. On the bottom of what? Ah, I see. I generally ignore the items on the "bottom" as outside links to other companies; fine print of minimal (or specialized) value. I tend to look for important and regularly used stuff at the top. By 'Line item' I simply meant a place in line on the pull-down.

In this case, I would tend to think of Renderosity Magazine as being part of the Community. That would be the first place I'd look for it. If I didn't find it there, I'd go to the pic-icons to the right of log in and try them one at a time. To me it would only belong on the bottom if it was not a part of Renderosity, or if it was a function asking for something important enough to be listed in the front, but not used very regularly. e.g. Renderosity direct contact information (which I would also expect to be listed somewhere else, just at the bottom, too, for redundancy). IMHO 'Become a Vendor' should be a line item at the bottom and Rendo Magazine might have an icon at the top in it's place - if it is important enough to you and the company.

Hi Hope (again!)

I think in another thread I said that I have no plans to Join Facebook.
I said "like" Renderosity. I said I do not particularly "like" the company 'Facebook'.

I guess that means I will be able to read the Renderosity Magazine as a Rendo member (which is good), but I will not be able to comment on or participate in anything there. No worries. That's my choice and I'm pretty happy with it. I still look forward to reading. Thank you for the clarification.

What ... are you guys on commission with Facebook or something? Every time I try something on this new website I discover another thing that should be (and used to be) one easy step, and instead it's three steps that don't make any sense.

It's because Facebook is hip, trendy and cheap to use for this (they take over the security, bandwidth width etc. No cost for rendo) . That's all.

I still plan to read the magazine. It looks like a good thing for 3D artists, and we can support that part of the effort without having to tether to FB.
