I'm trying to figure out where to download and install the latest Poser SDKs for Vue 10. I used to have the 2012 version but it went missing. Can't find any info on eon or Smith Micro's site.

Vue 10 works with Poser 9 up to Pro 2010 sr1. There is a dropdown ine the Vue>Options> Configure Poser Import for version selection. You will see the supported release date of the supported Poser versions and can compare it to the Poser release schedule listed here.Poser Wiki

FYI Vue has excellent Collada import capability and will load most Poser & DS collada exports even with morphs.

Thanks, I'd forgotten this post existed, lol. I was under the impression you could get an update for the SDK's as Poser was upgraded (within reason). I still have Poser Pro 2012, released at the same time as Poser 9, and understand some have luck opening newer Poser files in an older version and exporting from there. Experiment time I guess.

I used Pro 2015 with Vue 10. It imports as well as can be expected.

Pro 2015? A typo I guess. How well can be expected? Would you be so kind as give me a brief overview of your workflow and outcome. It would really help me to know when to stop mucking about seeking perfection. Thanks.

Sorry. I was at work. Yes, 2012. As usual with Poser imports, you can expect some fudging with materials. Also, if you're trying to get a good volumetric atmosphere effect, you might have to enlarge the scale.
