Can someone help out here? My brain is mush at the moment.

atpo, if you join the Daz3D website here: http://www.daz3d.com/home Go to the Forums, (Bryce Discussion) at the bottom of the page, there is a dedicated Bryce Forum with more users than there are here. There are a lot of people there who are willing to help those in need. Also look on youtube for David Brinnen Bryce videos. He has loads of them, all are helpful in one way or another.

StuartB"s suggestion about checking out David Brinnen's YouTube videos is a very good idea. The man sure knows his Bryce. There is content here relating to the use of material libraries etc. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCldbpx-WrHFHUD-w3IaIKkw

Usually you have to UV Map your obj in order to use a 2d texture on it.
