I am using a magnet on a figure. I want to stretch the figure's shoulder and forearm, but I want the undistored hand at the end of the forearm. When I use the magnet, the hand just stays in place, and the forearm stretches over it and covers it. Any advice?

Include the hand and fingers in the magnet zone as well as the forearm and shoulder. You can do this by opening the properties of the Mag and adding the bodyparts you want to include in it's effects.

Won't that distort the hand too? I want the hand to stay at the end of the forearm, but I don't want it to be deformed.

It can be done, but it's not easy. You may have to do it in steps. It is possible to move a bodypart without deforming it.

JeffH: opening the properties of the Mag and adding the bodyparts you want to include in it's effects Hey Jeff, how is the above different from resizing the magnet zone? Thanks

If you have a magnet applied to the hand, resizing the Mag Zone alone will not allow it to effect the fingers. You would have to open the properties of the Mag and "add other elements to deform", which would be each of the finger segments. -JH.
