Art is a form of communication that transcend ordinary words, images or sound. Good art can stir the soul.

For me, it's a range: art pieces can be an investment item, or a piece of ornamental decoration; creating art for me is an occupational therapy, or a way to learn something new.

Some would say art is whatever the the artist feels is art, others would say art is what evokes a feeling, any feeling, whether revulsion or awe, from the person experiencing it. I would say art is anything from a photo to a watercolor, a sketch, or an oil painting or any other medium that makes you look and study, that draws your eye from one place to another, that makes you think about what the artist intended. The use of color, or texture, or subject; the use of perspective and light, all can make you look at and enjoy a work of art.

For me Art means LIFE, I started paying attention to Any Art and especially Computer Generated art after being diagnosed with Lung Cancer over 8 years ago. Using Photoshop and other Paint Programs then discovering my beloved Fractals as a distraction from the pain of Cancer and mostly it's Cures, Radiation and Chemotherapy I have been Cancer Free over 5 years now but Art remains a huge part of my Life, I no longer look at anything with Pre-Cancerous eyes everything is different now, everything is a piece of Art because Art is LIFE and LIFE is Good...
