You need to screencap an example of the problem, please. I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do.

Try creating the closet exactly as you would in real life if you were working with wood. The cabinet is one object, each closet door are additional objects. Hinges, door knobs etc are again all separate objects.

Split the edges around each door to separate them from the mesh, then make the doors separate objects.

Split the edges around each door to separate them from the mesh, then make the doors separate objects.

Agree with this. In edit mode, select the faces you want for your door, press the space bar, and search for "Edge Split". Select it from the list. Then press "P" on the keyboard to bring up the separate list, and choose "By Loose Parts". This will split the faces you chose from the base mesh, and make them separate objects.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks. It is done. But I find that Finishing

spliting and seperating

which all seperating parts

are the dependency

parts.And Need to

quit"edit model" to

"object model",then select

those parts and into "edit

model" and then select

edge and then "open

sesame". All the progress has more

steps. But click one door ,the

other is nondisplay.

While in maya,just need

creat cube then edit

mesh"split polygon

tool"then edit

mesh'detach component'

then'"open sesame".

Blender can also do the

same improvement,too. blndslta.jpg
