It's been too dang long lol... some sites require embedded geometry extraction; what is the fastest/easiest way to do that these days?

Thanks!

Well ... that has a lot to do with whether or not it violates the creator's TOS on the geometry ... and how you plan to use it. Perhaps I don't understand your purpose. I mean no offense, but we need to be clear on this.

I think what the OP means is how to save a prop (probably that he made) so there is no embedded geometry in it and is just referenced. It really has been a long time since I did that but I probably went through too many unnecessary steps. I see this utility saves the .pp2 without embedded geometry. Also, maybe this tutorial will help.

Thank you so much for the clarification. Not an area I'm totally familiar with.

Hey darkworld. You might be interested in this tool, it removes embedded geometry plus automates a bunch of other content creation tasks. It's on sale and totally worth the price... Creators Toybox

There's also this free utility that looks good, downloading it now to try it out myself.

Yes, the free utility does work very well. 😄 You can also use notepad++ to manually strip the file of embedded geometry. Here's a link to how to do it.

Have a creative day!

Dimension3D has a few tools that include this functionality. I still don't regret buying the big bundle of those tools.

I use all the time Runtime zip& repair to install (and extract embedded geometry) all content bought in the marketplaces.
