When you upload freestuff there are three sections to fill in.
Item Details Item Requirements Item Settings
There is a note saying '*All Required' alongside the "Item Details" heading
It took three attempts to get a successful upload. The first time I think it was because I didn't select a thumbnail (I'd assumed that it would be generated automatically, like in the galleries) The second time I think it was because I didn't specify Systems and Base Figures under Item Requirements (my item has no system/figure requirement, and there is no 'N/A' option for these)
Here's the illogical behaviour:
When the upload failed there was no indication of this. I was returned to a fresh 'Upload FreeStuff' page - everything I'd entered had been deleted. ** - The logical behaviour would be to say "Upload Failed" with a reason, and to return you to the upload page with everything you'd entered to let you make corrections**
I may be wrong, but it seems that all three 'Item Requirements' fields are mandatory.
When eventually I got a successful upload I was taken to the FreeStuff homepage, with no indication that the upload had succeeded. I had to go to my own FreeStuff page where I see the blue "You currently have freestuff pending" banner, but I also see my freestuff item - that's a bit confusing, is it pending or not? IWhen I then went to the What's New page of the Freestuff section I didn't see my item, so I assume that when you upload a freestuff item you can see it on your own freestuff homepage, but nobody else can see it until it's been approved. Wouldn't it make sense to explain this on the upload page?
I've mentioned all of this before. Hoping for a fix. :)
The 3Dcheapskate* occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
