Subject: Can Still Images Tell A Story?

I prefer to make animations, but when I make a still render, e.g. for a challenge or contest, I try to have it tell a story. Here is a big league photographer who has a somewhat similar approach:

His photos are more surreal/lyrical than (my preferred) realistic, but very interesting.
