Subject: So what's with the way the site works now?! - Gallery images with warnings?

OK now what's the deal? I put an advisory warning on my male pin up WEARING JEANS ANYWAY... but JUST IN CASE the powers that be would have a problem with a bare male chest... AND too, I know how people think... and frankly I thought I'd get more views for a great new male character this way... BUT I got an e mail from my best friend, who said:

I checked your gallery at Renderosity (via my direct link) & didn't find your Rodrigo picture! But your other pictures were there. There were no comments either. ??? Yet Renderosity sent me a link to your picture. ???

And she does have her settings NOT to view any nudity, etc... but BEFORE THE BIG CHANGE... one could go to an image via a link....now I see even before I, myself signed in, I COULD NOT SEE MY OWN IMAGE in my own gallery... so I signed in, and there it was (I do NOT have my Preferences set to exclude "advisory images")

So then I wrote back to her and said, in part:

you have your settings NOT to see nudity...maybe this is a new WAY the site works now? Yep! won't let ME see my own page, UNLESS I'M SIGNED IN...and so everyone that does not want to see ANY "advisory warned" image doesn't even know it is there, apparently? Sheesh! One extreme to another!?

and FYI... this is my image... if it does NOT need a warning, I better remove the warning and the advisory thumbnail... sigh. direct link: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/rodrigo/2662938/

I really miss the old site... and now this thing with the warnings in the gallery... after the PRODUCT I saw in your store a few months back that STUNNED and OFFENDED even ME - I WISHED I COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED FROM SEEING that product that belonged at Renderotica in my opinion.... things just seem so lopsided here now!

Hi Lyne, I just checked the pic and I found you are using the old Content Advisory Thumb that is no longer allowed so please remove this. Also the nudity flag is set, what is not neccessary as the nude chest of a male doesn't need a flag. If there is a flag set you will not see this image unless you are logged in and your settings allow nudity.

YOUR own thumbnail I was forced to use before is actually no longer allowed? ok, will both remove my warning and let Rosity generate a thumbnail for me...

and to make it MORE confusing, my friend now said: I didn't sign in & looked through the gallery pictures earlier this week & there were terrible nude thumbnails! Sheesh!

soooo I have no idea what is going on... but AT LEAST I can make sure my image of Rodrigo will show now... Thank you.

If you find something like that, please contact one of us, sure, we are not always online and usually we discuss each case so it may take sometimes 1 day, before the tag is set. Thanks for your understanding.

Nudity is common here now in gallery thumbnails. RIght now for instance on page one and two of what's new in the galleries I can see at least six thumbs showing breasts.

You are right, some of the thumbnails show nudity but I checked it, they are all marked that there is nudity. If you don't want to see nudity you have to check this in in your user setting under Gallery "Hide Nudity? Filter thumbnails of items containing nudity?".

That's how the galleries deal with nudity, violence and language.
