I didn't even know there was a freebie forum. But I looked around and found more than a few forums that I had no idea where even there. I am used to forums that have subforums for related things versus having them wherever... Now that I see how they have it set up, it is no wonder that it gets very little traffic.

DarthJ has some neat stuff in there, and Rendo should rethink the forum setup. A user that freely gives to the community should never be buried in an odd forum location.

Oh, and I looked at my runtime and realized I have A LOT of your freebies already there. I like your structures. These are things I can't model myself and you are saving me a lot of work and money. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work. I wish they would fix these things we are complaining about instead of making things worse with each upgrade of the software.

Forum ebots do not work. A long-running thread will die due to nobody knowing you added something. Worse, your freebie thread is a sticky, so the usual visual change of recent activity at the top is lost. You'd do better to have your thread unstickied.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

You'd do EVEN BETTER to move to RuntimeDNA where the forum software actually works.

I'm not surprised by the lack of likes. On D.A. my comic would get 100 views and 1 comment on average. If I were lucky I would get 4 comments from my fans. Please continue to love what you do and do what you love.

My edit...Was I April fooled? The only freebie by DarthJ was a house from 2010! Downloaded though! You cannot have too many houses or cars or the simple of our day.

I have been producing freebies since 2010, 6 pages at Sharecg.

I remember you on the freebie forum, you make nice stuff. I think this whole new TOS rule, makes the forum quite useless. AdamTwaithes was one of my favourites: gone! The links in the japanese freebies: gone! and I can on like that. We used to have nice stickied thread with all kinds of links for materials and tutorials: gone! If a newbie or anyone else asks where he could find something, it's no longer possible to give an answer This used to be a great and fun forum with dozens of posts every day and interesting discussions that went on forever. This whole place has gone to the smithereens, Rendo should be ashamed of itself.
