Hey guys/gals,

This is my first post to this forum and I have a bit of a different idea or offer for the writers here.. I don't know if anyone here has heard of Cgsociety , it is a very large CG graphics website and they have had large contests in the past and I was going to get a team together to enter the animation category. I plan on getting a group of Carrara users(a 3d app) together to enter the challenge.

I don't know when this contest will start but I think it will be soon , so in the meantime we are trying to produce a practice animation as a group. I proposed 2 challenge topics: "What is that." or "Bang!" and we as a group need to create an animation 30-60sec. long based on one of the themes.

Sooo..... If any of the writers here would like to see their script or story idea turned into an animation now is your chance. We are doing this just for fun as a group of 3d enthusiasts. I wrote a storyboard/script as a starting point but no one else has submitted anything. If you feel like this is something you would like to participate in you can add your name and skill(writer) to the Member sign up page or add your story idea here or here to upload your story.
