Hey guys I came across a post at blenderartist.org about this new program Dilay.

http://abau.org/dilay/index.html

It's open source and has some cool feature. Thought you might like to give it a try.

Check out the sketch function. Some folks have compared it to Zspheres.

@Cybermonk - downloaded and checking it out. Did a quick sculpt, saved it out as an .obj, and imported into blender 2.76b. It's all good. Might be handy for some things, but need to spend a little time with it. From first impression, it appears to be a decent app.

Yeah it's definitely a work in progress. I liked the sketch mode. You can pop out a base figure to start from quickly. The interface is a little more cumbersome than Blender. However It seems to put out a cleaner mesh than Blender's dynotop. Somebody sugested over at Blenderartist that since it was FOSS software it could be incorporated into Blender. Not sure how likely that is.

Look it's a hideous dragoon doodle. I redid the feet in Blender I cut off the deformed pancakes I did in Dilay. I modeled them and Booleaned them on. dragoon2.png

The wings are going to be fun.... not
