The Photoshop plug-in, Filter Forge, is being given away free for a limited time. I tested it and it did work. (though there were some hoops to jump) but it did install and work on my system. You can check out this thread if you want to know more.

Follow up: Myself and another Mod tried this and we both received our license key from the Filter Forge people within a few hours. So, this is real. If you don't have Filter Forge I would really recommend taking this opportunity to get it. It's very cool of the Filter Forge people to offer this opportunity. There is a time-limit though, the offer is only good for today.

I don't go for free things as there is usually a catch. BUT today or I should say yesterday I downloaded, installed and entered licence key. I still have a lot of playing around with it before I pass judgement. So far so good though.
