Hi Gang,
I happened across this image featuring what appear to be Poser figures, and I liked the hair on one of the people, but I don't recognize it. I clipped off her head (AHHH!!! ) and attached it.
I thought perhaps it was Lady Littlefox's Samantha Hair, but the front is quite different. Any Ideas?

AHAH! It turns out it must have caught my eye because I owned it, but had never rendered it in red; it's Aryelle Hair from DAZ...
Thanx to those who pondered it!

Hey WandW, I own this hair too and haven't recognized nor used it. The reason is, because it lays in the character folder "The Kids 4 Pro Bundle" in my Runtime and I'm seldom working with kids.
Nice hint! THX!

I got it as part of the Kid's Pro Bundle, too. (which I must have gotten for close to free in a long-ago March Madness Sale, because I had a bunch of additional items including the Girl 4 Pro Bundle, and the total was only $6.36!) I don't think I'd ever used the included V4 version...

This is the reason that I manually install content. I have a folder in the characters library labeled "Hair," and one in the poses folder labeled Hair MAT Poses. Also, re-naming some of the folders to take out the "!!!" and the word "MAT" before the name of the mat folder. All my V4 characters are in a folder labeled V4 Characters which is in a folder labeled V4 that contains pose collection folders and morph folders. Always break out a package into it's parts so I can find them later on.

Sorry, my writing was somewhat imprecise. I have a Runtime for M4, V4, David, Steph and Freak, a second Runtime for M3, V3, K4 and not so often used figures and a third Runtime for Dawn and Hivewire stuff. And I'm installing just as you said by hand.
The second Runtime is not opened very often.
All hair files start with a "-" (minus) for better finding.
The folder "The Kids 4 Pro Bundle" is NOT in my Runtime, but on an extern HD for archiving.

Ok. If it works for you! I only use one runtime. :)

I should add that the materials are weird; there is a glossy node plugged into alternate specular that gave a odd reflection in P11 Firefly. I unplugged it for the render above. It probably worked great in Poser 7...

That happens all the time, even now with newer stuff in the marketplace: Blin nodes plugged into refect, reflect plugged into spec, color maps serving dual function as bump and color maps. I always have to fix this stuff when I get a new product.
