Lots of newbie questions from me lately. Are there any tutorials on how to make a content package for DAZ Studio? I'm used to making Poser packages. Poser has it distinctive set of subfolders under Runtime. Geometries, textures, figures etc. And any shader or material you create will use the relative paths to textures within the Runtime folder. How does that work in DS? Do I just create a "texture" folder under the package root folder, and DS will assume relative paths instead of absolute paths when I save my scene/figure/prop?

Textures should still go into the Runtime/textures/vendorname file path in a DS runtime structure.

eg My DAZ 3D Library/Runtime/textures/Vendorname/Productname/texturedif01.jpg.

.

DS also has a pattern you would want to follow for where your content is placed in the content library structure to make it easy for users to access.

DS does use relative paths but there is still some order to where content needs to go in the content library.

.

For example a little black dress for Genesis 3 would be saved to.

My DAZ 3D Library/People/Genesis 3 Female/Clothing/Little black dress

Materials for the dress should stem from there.

My DAZ 3D Library/People/Genesis 3 Female/Clothing/Little black dress/Iray Mat presets

.

Hope this helps :)

Let's say I have a full texture mat for a character. I've assigned all the jpgs to the character shape and now I have a full character with a material preset. So I save the material preset, but where do I save it so that I can redistribute it on Rendo?

It should bi in two folders:

I would suggest to place those folders under My Library
