Blackhearted does great work. She does look nice. Her default body isn't bad. It's so much better than the P8 Alyson, who's arms were too short. The face of both models is too manly for me.

If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

Definitely GND Anastasia (and Tyler for that matter) where probably the best sculpted Poser figures. It's too bad that they weren't supported more. They certainly deserved to be standalone figures.

Way back I said that V4 had a face like a smashed crab... Default Alyson 2 makes V4 look like a ravishing beauty in comparison. Honestly, she looks like Arnie with breasts. Fortunately, Blackhearted did a wonderful job with Anastasia and Shae. Here's Shae.

I whipped up an example of Alyson 2 without the GND Anastasia morph. I used Jasmina's Alyson 2 morphs available here.

I put that in my wishlist, but she really needs to work on her black faces. In fact, I never bought Shae for the same reason. Didn't like her face.

I'm not exactly sure what the rules are regarding posting a link to RDNA forums these days, but I'll just assume it's verboten. I didn't initially like Alyson2, but when Blackhearted released his Anastasia version, it opened my eyes.

You can have a lot of fun mixing her with other morphs, and her bending is really good!

For this figure I used a mix of Alyson2's own morphs, Anastasia, Aspasia by SAV and Melody by Tosca. I have no idea what she is doing tho, some kind of exercise I guess!

My bad for not being clear. I was referring to Jasmina, who I assumed is a "she". I also pointed out that I never bought Shae because I didn't like her face either.

Alyson 2 was a step in the right direction and I liked her various iterations such as Alisha, Maria, Izumi etc. Here I started off with Alisha2 and morphing was done in the face room. The texture is the one that comes with Alisha.

In the second image I started out with Blackhearted's Anastasia and again used the face room for morphing. I might have dialed down the GND morph though I can't remember the setting exactly as this was over 4 years ago. The texture is GND's modified through shader nodes.

now for the critical question.. can anyone get a satisfactory render of her with arms raised? When anastasia/shae came out I wanted to love the figure so so much.. but I just have not been able to get past the arms raised and the hideous deformation it make in her lat area. Thoughts?

If anyone has searched my posts, I've been a long time advocate of supporting Alyson2/Anastasia. There's more out of the box morphs and more versatility in Alyson than all the stock Poser characters combined. It was an absolutely criminal shame that Anastasia got so little support from vendors because when people know what they're doing, she can be absolutely amazing.

A really... really old image I did of Alyson1... all dial spins, no 3rd party morphs and no custom morphing from what I can remember. Though I did render it in Vue, but I had no idea wtf I was doing so I'm glad it came out as well as it did all those years ago.

yes the amount of morphs out of the box is amazing, though possibly a bit overwhelming at the same time. A lot of them I had look up what they were, especially in the limbs.

I see some very great work being done with Alyson and Alyson2.

• Nice renders, good Job.

The limitations of ALyson are :

• Alyson and Alyson2 have 42 magnet errors left-right. Some small, some large. (Compare the magnets and magnet zones sizes and positions in outline mode)
• Alyson2 has 5.300 loose and unused vertex floating around inside the mesh. (All verts at all welds have an unused double.)

These loose verts are usually not an issue, but on a morphed figure? => The fitting room and the cloth room can collide with these unused verts during simulations giving "strange" results. LOL.

Seriously, I really love this figure and especially BH's Ana and Shae-- I really wish there were more support. I tried to do some, and occasionally still do. I wish others would too.
