I know poser can import bvh files into the program. But can poser also use .c3d mocap files?

Hi no those c3D files are the raw mocap data that is captured by an optical mocap system they must first be converted to BVH to use in poser. The link below seems to offer to convert them free online in addition to a stand alone converter program for download FYI the Link to download the standalone seems shady.
I have not personally tried either one so I do not vouch for them YMMV.

That site is bogus. It does not convert C3D to BVH. It has a fake progress bar, then endless download links to popups and offers and virus filled scripts.
Converting some random C3D file to BVH wouldn't work. The joints/body parts have to be named correctly for the figure you animate.
