I've worked up a nifty background using TerraDome components in Poser Pro 2014.
The image is based on a set that I've used 4 times in the past, over the last 4 years -- so it's time tested geometry and camera settings, etc.
The only thing I've changed is the textures -- both on the ground and in the sky dome. There's also a water plane, as it's an island setting.
When I rendered it at the size of the Poser window, it's perfect.
So, I upscaled it to 3000x3000 and rendered. The top part looks great.
But, in the bottom 1/4 or so, some of the landscape -- which in the small render appears as just nice, reddish-to-black tones -- has become transparent somehow. So, I end up seeing the water and stuff below it -- mostly in the areas that were just smooth textured (red-to-black) on the smaller original.
I tried it at 2000x2000 and 1200x1200 with similar results -- though each time the area of error seemed to be getting smaller.
If I go back to the preview window -- with the same render settings -- its FINE again.
Anyone have ANY idea of what might be going on here?
Should I turn of the program, reboot, and reload? 'Cause that's about all I can think of to do right now.
Thoughts?
Solutions?
Suggestions?
Thanks!
