I just placed an order (Order #: 112893388) and every time I go to paypal using the button, I can login but as soon as I hit the payment button it won't go through saying that my login has timed out and to try logging in again. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm having this problem as well. At other times I get an invalid order message and have to log leave this site and come back to place the order. I don't have this problem with any other site and it is getting to the stage that it is making me think twice about bothering to place any orders!

Is anybody at Renderosity looking into this problem? I've now been trying to pay for two and a half hours. If I can't pay in the next few hours I won't be able to try until tomorrow by which time one of my items will no longer be on sale. Will I be charged the higher price? (In which case I won't order!) This is annoying especially as no-one at the site has even acknowledged the problem

We are very sorry as issues are on the paypal side as it seems they have an outage in some areas and at the moment are unsure how long it will be before it is fixed completely.

Same problem here - click on Paypal button and forwarding to Paypal works as usual but when I want to pay I always get the message "Your PayPal session has timed out. Please log in again."
This happens over and over again. Sorry but I doubt that this has anything to do solely with Paypal as I was able to make quite a few Paypal payments today with other webshops only a couple of minutes ago.
Now I phoned up Paypal and they said there was no problem at all with their servers or services being down or an "outage in some areas"!
So what is going on? When I browse this forum I find that it is full of others having the exact same problem...

Please clear your cache and cookies and try again as another member said this worked for them this morning.

Thanks for the advice!
However this has nothing to do with cache / cookies - I've already tried different browsers on Mac and PC - on PC I have never been locked in to Paypal or Renderosity before - so as a result on PC there is no cached webpage and no cookies - sorry.
Btw. I'm a web developer and the Paypal timeout problem is quite well known and documented...

Thank you for the information as we have a site we check to see when there is an outage on Paypal and when this all started yesterday, it was documented they were experiencing some issues.
They may not be today at this moment however they were when the problems started.
We have quite a few orders that have been placed within the last 10 minutes through paypal so I am honestly not sure why you are experiencing problems still.
I will do some more digging and see if I can find anything else out.
