The main forum page says there are 1871 threads in this forum, but when I come here, I see seven. Where are the rest of the threads and how do I get to them?

They're in the archive. At the top of the list of threads is the "browse Archive" button. Enter the date range you want to see and press the button.

I tried that. It gets me nowhere.

I just tried it and got a whole page of results.
