I'm looking for hair that's greying around the sides and or going but not bald, all the hair I find is ether young or old but nothing in-between.

If you have a 2d graphics program like Photoshop or Gimp ... you can create your own, with layering and a mask or eraser brush set to soft edges to customize a gray map layered over a color map. As for the balding, I believe ice-boy has one in free stuff: bal hair and M4 hair (licensce free) and I have one more I will get to you here later today. I can't find it at the moment.

Nice hair model but I was thinking of either half/going bald on the top or greying around the sides, for someone totally bald on the top his hair color is pretty young looking. Of course he could be prematurely bald;)

In that case, I suggest the graying technique I outlined earlier. As for the models ... that's pretty specific and you might want to contact our vendors to see if they are interested in creating such models.

I've had some quick successes at times with just using tighten on the morphing brush and making part of the hair go inwards onto the scalp eg that can make the temples recede. by the way thanks to the link for the Mitch hair. that will be really useful for me! love eshter

The wedge cut hair 1 or 2 I believe at DAZ had a morph and tex set for this for the Mil2 man. May want to check it out. I am not sure of the morph/tex mix were included or if they were 3rd party but you can check it out.

do try the morphing brush on other hair. very good for making hat hair too BTW.

For hats with hair i just reduce the crown and drop it down into the skull a bit. With the hat in place as wanted you should not see the fudged hair. Works great. And if you remove the hat the remaining hair is easy to bring back to normal.

I'm 57, my hair is grey at the sides and quite a bit on top. The rest of it is dark. Not bald, either, although there's less than when I was younger.

Yes, I'd love a comb over. I have a lot of middle aged people in my stories.

I would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork than contemplate a comb over. Once I noticed my hair thinning, I cut it short and kept it that way. For the life of me, I can't understand why some guys have hair that's like a pedal bin. Fools nobody, looks stupid.

I don't personally care how annoyed you are. I don't seem to remember you being too annoyed when I helped you out in the past. For the record, my helpful to annoying ratio is the right side of helpful so take your attitude and stick it where the sun don't shine.

never enough of anything for old folk renders. naked girl with sword in ruins is still the norm for poser users unless you are creating faeries stuff. :) naked OLD girls with swords in ruins and wrinkly toothless balding faeries with molting wings are just not cute so i can see content creators reluctance to create stuff for that particular look. LOL

CLICK! ah the wonders of technology ! too bad, "too soon old, too late smart". movin on! mouser and everyone else here sorry i knee jerked to the useless post of SamTherapy. yes he has been helpful here and elsewhere so i give him credit for that input. but i guess we are supposed to be tolerant when he drifts into irrelevant commentary but he is not as willing when reminded of it. hard to not get frustrated and angry to irrelevant rhetoric on these threads so i guess i too should take a chill pill. because iam also interested in finding more for my own use. if more old guy hair is found out there i hope it is posted here. thanks
