As I was advised in the thread at this link, I have downloaded and installed the animation package called Handbrake. I have used it to change a long video from .AVI to .MP4 .

How can I use Handbrake to? (1) Mark the end of the video to say "stop here, do not automatically repeat the video". (2) Add one frame :: here intended to contain text, which displays at the end of the video.

I don't think you can handbrake is a video converter not an editor. I would look at hitfilm express or the blackmagics free one. I can't think of the name of it it's not davinchi as that is the color grader and more starts with a F

I have used the output fro Hitfilm through handbrake when I didn't want to fool with compression settings but hitfilm has all the editing titling sound tools. Express is free

As stated above Handbrake is a video converter, not an editor. Use something like VitualDub for editing.

Completely forgot about the "free" version. I have the Pro version (mostly for the model import). -AniMajik
