Hey guys It's quite in here so I thought I'd throw this out there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp-hESP55js&t=156s I came across this tutorial on Youtube. Painting tile-able textures in Blender. It's pretty cool. Looks like there is a bunch of good stuff on that channel. The wrap option is now on the tool tab as Tiling X and Y.

Texture stoonTile.jpg

Apply to simple geometry. Scale and add a generated cloud texture(to the normals map) for roughness. Meh not to bad.

Thanks guys. I was shocked at how easy the tiling was to do. I know the texture is not that great. It's kind like Impressionist art, scale it down some and it looks much better. 😀 I think it's very cool how you can create a few simple elements and use the power of the Software/Computer to multiply your effort.

I like it! Not sure it's a good replacement for an external or dedicated paint software, but in a pinch it could work well.

Thanks HMoron. 😀 You are right it doesn't have everything Photoshop or Gimp has. It is a good way to start things off. Krita has a symmetry function that you can use like this as well.
