Version 4.9.3 is now out. You can find it in your product library at Daz.

The new version of Iray (Nvidia Iray 2016.3) that comes with the latest beta of Daz Studio (4.9.3.166) is noticeably faster than the version that came with the latest stable release version of DS (4.9 from last summer), which by itself is reason enough to download it.

There are also 360 render modes available which can easily be moved over to VR.

Forgive my density but can I get this via "Edit ==> Preferences ==> Check for Updates Now"?
EDIT: I should point out that I can only see the vanilla "Daz Studio 4.9 Pro" in my product library

If Help>About Daz Studio does not show you are running 4.9.3.166 then download 4.9 from your product library. DS doesn't get patches, it's a full version install each time.

In the Camera settings, you can set your camera to render Spherical under lens in the Parameters. The result is a 360 degree spherical render which you can use in both Daz and other 3d apps.

I am running an earlier version of Daz 4.9.. I cannot seem to download the latest version in 64 bit.. I go to the Daz web site main page , click on technology, then click read more and Download, then click get started today, then click 4.9 64 bit for windows install manager ready... once my install manager loads there is no daz 64 bit waiting to be downloaded... tried the download without IM and nothing in my download file... What am I doing wrong ??

Click the Download Filters button on the Ready to Download tab of DIM and make sure that 64 bit software is checked. You should be able to get the current version from there without having to go to the Daz site - the latest of 4.x is always there

Are you sure you don't have the current version, 4.9.3.166? Check Help>About Daz Studio.

No it was 4.9.1.30 I deleted it and content manager.. I found 4.9 on page 7 of my products page of my account.. tried to load through DIM but it never showed up in downloadable files.. I was able to manual download but it never completely installs . It gets to 95% Installing Content manager Service and it keeps going for hours and hours... Never fully installs... Wow ! I never had any trouble upgrading from 4.8 to 4.9 ...this is a nightmare..

Was the process that was hanging the Valentina to PostgreSQL conversion utility? That shouldn't be used, I would think, if you were already using DS 4.9.x.
If you installed the Default filters for install manager you should be able to click the triangle to the left of the filter text box, at top-right, and set DIM to show only software - what do you have listed in each tab (while online)?

Hello all! Does anyone know how to upload Renderosity content into DAZ Studio 4.9? I see the files that have corresponding names for DAZ but there's no instructions or tutorials on where to place the files correctly.
Thanks for your time!

What I generally see is a CONTENT folder that contains three sub folders: People, Data, Runtime (Sometimes may be Props) Whatever folders are in the CONTENT folder go in your DAZ3D/Studio/MyLibrary folder.

Having problems with the newest download on a new system with no content loaded. Installed the install manager and downloaded the newest studio but I get this message when I open studio A valid PostgreSQL CMS connection could not be established. How do I fix this? Thanks, Marque
