Last year I decided to try Studio but couldn't get on with it, had too much else to do so uninstalled it. Had problems with getting content installed, too.

I thought I'd give it another shot, seeing the announcement for a new build. This time around, I tried 5 times to get it installed and working, all with no success. Well, the prog would install, but the content folder was nowhere to be found. I decided to try the Install Manager, see if that made any difference.

So far, not great. Got the prog installed, and I thought I'd managed to get the Genesis figure stuff in there, too. All that happened was, despite the stuff showing up in the listings, I get an error message saying "Genesis 2 (or 3 or whatever) duf cannot be found. Looked in the relevant folder, there's the duf, large as life.

Pretty pissed off about it now. I'm an intelligent guy, I know my way around most things but Studio seems to be deliberately obscure and difficult for the sake of it.

I've uninstalled everything and hope to get it all working... finally. All I want are the Genesis 2 and 3 figures and morphs, with their clothes, as and when I buy 'em.

I need to know, are there any caveats (as with Poser) as to where stuff should be installed? What do I actually need to install, since all I want is the Genesis figures? How do I install stuff manually, should the fit ever take me to do this?

Please, please don't point me to video tutes; I cannot watch them. For whatever reason, the info never goes in from a video tute. I'm much better with stuff written down.
