Hi Everyone,

We use Paypal to process all of our payments...credit cards included. They have been having trouble processing credit card payments at the moment and their system is completely down.

This has been going on since approximately 11:30pm Central Standard time. The VP has contacted them and they are working on trying to fix it and get it back up and running properly as quickly as possible.

We will let you know as soon as everything is working correctly and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused anyone.

I will come back in and let you all know when their processing center is up and running again.

Once it is, you should be able to go in and process your order without any trouble.

Warmest Regards,

Kristi

Well the problem now seems to be fixed, at least I have now placed the order and it has been approved, now I just have to wait and see if i have been charged more than once.

Real shame that no one at Rendo decided to update their customers, you would have thought that the number of customers paying by credit card was rather high and therefore important............guess not.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Hello,

It still was not fixed when I left here at 6pm Friday evening.

I am very sorry for not coming back in however I had family engagements to attend to when I left the office and forgot to come back in here.

I am not on as much on the weekends due to being away from my family so many hours during the week, I try to get as much family time in with them as I can on the weekends. Not to mention taking care of the other responsibilities I cannot take care of during the work week.

Hello,

It still was not fixed when I left here at 6pm Friday evening.

The comment was not aimed at you and, as I stated in another forum on the same subject, I did not expect an update during the weekend. What I did expect was an update on Monday, I also expected that something as important as the inability to process credit card transactions would be regarded as important and thus not left to one individual to oversee.

I understand that this clearly does not warrant people working over the weekend and I would be one of the last people to try and encroach on anyone's family time.

My dismay however is that there was only a public statement on the forums after I had raised the issue. I am also concerned that I wrote an email which was first rejected and sent at the second attempt and despite the fact was told I would have a response in 24 hours almost 60 hours later there has been no response.

All of this has also be seen in the context of the wider issue. I used to spend well over $100 a month here but I was one of the ones who had multiple cards defrauded when you had the issue around a year ago. Despite the hack I continued to shop here until, after supporting Rendo on the Prime changes, I was made to look a fool in being supportive. The last straw was when Prime vendors were 'thrown under a bus' by some members of staff. The end result was I stopped buying here for the best part of a year as I had come to the conclusion that Rendo just did not value their customers, I also removed my gallery at the same time in protest.

It has only been in the last few months that I have slowly returned to buying here starting with the odd purchase and now we have this saga. I hope you can see this from my point of view when I say I left because I felt buying from here was too much hassle and my custom was really not wanted. Can someone please explain in the context of what has just happened just why I should bother buying from Rendo in the future, particularly when I get none of these problems (or ghost followers) at the other sites I shop at.

Again I stress this is not aimed at any individual, more at the cavalier culture that seems to exist in what once was a thriving community.
