hi folks! I have had my boot drive go off to neverland, so replaced the spinner with a SanDisk SSD. The new install of Win 7 Pro 64 went great. Most of my programs reinstalled without a hitch. Vue 6 Infinite 6.4 exited the install with 1 error. It couldn't install the Materials part. After 5 tries, doing what the error suggested I do, I finally deselected Materials checkbox for the install and it completed without that item. Well, we all know that the Materials are vital. They are there in the installer, but it won't install them. Any thoughts y'all? TIA! McG.

Best suggestion is to open a support ticket at e-on site

Thanks gillbrooks, I reckon that can't hurt. A few folks in the old usenet ng use Vue also, but they have upgraded along the way. I am still enjoying Vue 6 Infinite immensely. Good thing, can't afford to upgrade! Thanks again. Michael

Well, problem is solved. I created a new content folder on the same HD as the old one. Gave that new one to the installer and it worked first time. Now I have all the Vue content in that new folder, and will just keep it right there. It's working.

BTW, I did go to eon to see about starting a support ticket. No such luck, my purchase was way out of date as they only offer free support for current releases. The forums were a help though, just reading through a couple of them. Saw someone else with a similar issue, they were given basically the same advice to simply create a new empty content folder, and let it run. It did the job.
And thanks Gillbrooks, the suggestion is appreciated!
